In the ever-present battle of good vs. evil, a lone thief, Dex, seeks vengeance after he is left for dead in the woods by his partner. So he makes a deal with the Devil and goes on a mission to kill his partner and get his loot back. The Company of Thieves is a story about good and evil and the road between where it’s often hard to read the signs.

Dark and suspenseful, rich and stunning The Company of Thieves is a modern western, artfully directed by filmmaker Shilpa Sunthankar and gorgeously shot in Oregon. It stars Hank Harris (Pumpkin) and Samrat Chakrabarti (The Waiting City, Midnight’s Children), as well as numerous Portland, OR talent. It also features music by Michael Gira’s (SWANS) The Body Lovers and World of Skin. The film completed a successful project on Kickstarter in 2010, went on to an award-winning U.S. and Canadian festival tour, was broadcast on ShortsTV, and launched on IndieFlix. TRT 17 mins.
